GMR Energy has an operational capacity of over 4400 MW with a balanced fuel mix of coal, gas, LSHS as well as renewable sources of wind and solar energy. Operating assets are in Chennai (220 MW), Kakinada (220 MW), Vemagiri (388 MW) and many more all over India.

• OSI PI implementation was done for Chennai, Kakinada and Vemagiri plants
• OSI PI Processbook displays were provided for all the 3 plants
• Auto reports were generated daily for all the three plants
• Asset centric, hierarchical representation of all the plant equipment is done for all the 3 plants using PI Asset Framework
• OSI PI Notifications were configured for all the 3 plants
• InDB Historian was installed at Vemagiri plant
