Job Profile: Energy Component Consultant

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and highly skilled Energy Component Consultant to provide comprehensive implementation, testing, support, and upgrade services for Hydrocarbon accounting using Energy Components. In this role, you will manage project milestones, collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure timely delivery, and mentor team members to drive successful project outcomes. Strong technical expertise in PL/SQL, Java, REST API, and Jasper reports is essential for integrating Energy Components with third-party applications and optimizing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing services like Implementation, Testing, Support and Upgrade Services around the Hydrocarbon accounting using Energy Components.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks.
- Oversee work assigned and manage work quality, timely delivery, and documentation. This includes proactively collaborating with other team members to overcome any technical challenges and roadblocks.
- Balance workload priorities across multiple concurrent upgrades and deliverables.
- Plan and execute project milestones including effort estimation, kick-off, technical/functional validation, and production go-live cutover activities.
- Track project progress, including identification and mitigation of risks.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to satisfy project deliverables and requests.
- Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders on the project status.
- Able to integrate EC with other 3rd party applications.
- Demonstrate mastery and drive improvements for technical skills required for successful implementations, such as: PL/SQL, Java, REST API and Jasper report.
- Lead team stand-ups and retrospectives to identify technical and process issues, discuss improvement ideas, and share knowledge.
- Mentor team members to practice resourceful problem-solving and inspire them to achieve individual career goals and shared team objectives.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in client conversations while representing Invasystems positively.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Energy Components, Hydrocarbon Accounting, or related technologies are a plus.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Energy Components implementations, upgrades, and support.
- Experience in working with PL/SQL, Java, REST APIs, and Jasper Reports.
- Knowledge of database management and reporting tools, including experience with Jasper Reports and Oracle databases.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to lead discussions and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with clients.
- Collaborative team player with experience mentoring junior staff.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SCRUM practices is beneficial.
- Experience in cloud technologies and virtualization is a plus.
